   I'd like to use AI integration in MS Code or its OSS variant. but I cannot use the official Copilot. are you aware of alternative plugins to APIs that are maybe pay as you go?

     @kaia you can check out https://www.cursor.com/, i think it's visual studio with extras, you can either use their stuff (for free) or add your own api keys.

     @lain thanks, but $20 a month is steep when I only use it for a bit. pay as I go would be cooler.

     @kaia you can use your own api keys from chatgpt, claude or something like https://www.together.ai/ if you want to use something like qwen2.5 coder. or use it with ollama.
