Is it just me or is #search completely broken on mastodon dot social? I never get results when I search for URLs that are listed in here: https://mastodon.social/explore/links

When Goggle.com started replaced its search engine with a Trained #MOLE, it started a transition from being a web search engine, to becoming a *guessing* engine. By replacing the list of webpage links - the output of a web search engine - with a chatbot interface that outputs word salad, Goggle are just completing a process they started years ago.

You can block the detritus from your searches. Sometimes I do want to know what the far right are saying, and I can search for that with Google, but the rest of the time I don't have to wade through the garbage.
