@vegos_f06 In Hamburg ist das entspannt. Unser Büro ist in der Nähe der Hafencity. Und die wiederum zieht die Touristen an - unter anderem auch deswegen, weil dort eines der Kreuzfahrtterminals liegt.

Man sieht viele Menschen, die eindeutig Touristen sind, aber es ist nicht übervoll und es ist auch nicht "Party-Volk".

@dansup @DieWespe @GrahamDowns Most of her friends are in their 60s. She rants about "the old people" who only talk about their illnesses and special offers in the supermarket. 😀

She participates in charity events and there mostly hide her age. Not because she doesn't want to tell, but because she doesn't want to be treated as a old person of that age (she looks 10 years younger at least).

She educates other people in how to use their smartphones and of course she buys and sets up her own smart tv, smartphone, tablet ...

Only thing she asks me in advance is if the model that she wants to buy is a good choice. (mostly it is)

@clacke I discovered Wig Wam recently, a Norwegian glam metal band who also represented their country at the Eurovision song contest. They started as a KISS cover band, and were so successful they were able to write their own songs, which hilariously don't mean anything but use common writing tropes.

None of which better exemplified than Do Ya Wanna Taste It (2010). It's a really fun and catchy song, and then you find a live performance of the song where the audience sings along to the nonsense, and it takes a different dimension.

@tobias @evan At least in my tests there hadn't been that much posts in a time frame, not even a post in a minute.

BTW: There is also one more thing in that PR: To give the users the choice if their posts should be distributed to relay servers or not, there is now a user option to deactivate it. The default value is to allow the distribution via relay servers.

@clacke I suggested this about 5-10 years ago and I was told there wasn't enough room to show the DM icon in the mobile header. 😏

@vegos_f06 Ich selber besitze nicht mal ein Auto, dafür aber drei Fahrräder und ich nutze auch den ÖPNV sehr ausgiebig, da er in meiner Stadt sehr gut audgebaut ist. Aber es gibt genügend Situationen, wo Menschen nicht auf eigene Fahrzeuge verzichten können. Und dann ist es sinnvoll, auf dort E-Autos zu setzen.

Und bezüglich Ideen: Ja, man kann sich viel für die Zukunft vorstellen, aber darüber dürfen wir nicht die Gegenwart vergessen.

Welche einfachen Möglichkeiten gibt es jetzt und nicht in der Vergangenheit oder der Zukunft, sich Fahrzeuge in ausreichender Stückzahl anzuschaffen, die für das tägliche Pendeln und den Wocheneinkauf geeignet sind?

Das ist genau mein Punkt. Irre viele dieser Fahrzeuge sind in homöopathischen mengen vorhanden oder sind Studien oder sollen vielleicht mal kommen - oder wurden von irgendeinem Kleinproduzent hergestellt, der ein Fahrzeug die Woche produziert.
