   @clacke I suggested this about 5-10 years ago and I was told there wasn't enough room to show the DM icon in the mobile header. 😏

   Glad it's there now.

     Oh yay, Friendica now shows the DM unread indicator on the main screen on mobile.

     "Now" probably being for months and months and I just didn't notice.

     Previously, I would notice DMs weeks after they were sent, on the rare occasions I happened to be using Friendica on the desktop.
