Fiat just means its value is decided by the authority. Fiat can be extremely stable, just as you can see over history. Germany had a fiat currency... Credit/debt based economics are extremely good and useful, especially in the digital age. There is no need to have exploitative rape of the people in that system. The central bank or state issuing currency and controlling the money supply is fine.
