The very idea of people wanting their country to be independent from the UK just seems to enrage lots of English people.I don't see the same fury coming from Scotland or Wales. Why do Scottish people not feel personally affronted when Welsh people say they want to leave the UK?I guess it has something to do with English identity in relation to their UK identity, but I can't quite say what.
