@Leaflord They usually make their acolytes take drugs as they do this. I know, adrenochrome is a Q boomer thing to harp on about, but it was mega popular for these malignant rituals through the 2010s and is likely popular now. But they likely mixed it with LSD, meth, and whatever else. Importantly, they would not make ecstasy, or MDMA, into these cocktails, because part of the point was to invoke a deliberately bad trip. They weren't intent on subjecting just their victims in these rituals to a terrible death, but they wanted to make sure the people performing the ritual fully understood how irredeemably hellbound they were as they did it. Again, gravitas.
