That's such a cope for people trying to justify wealth, which ironically creates an idol out of it (PS: We're not commanded to be poor, just not to value money more important than God and His commandments). I will criticize it just like I will "new wine" grape juice communion. Why would the disciples ask "THEN WHO CAN BE SAVED!?" and why would it have been said immediately after the sad virtuous rich man walked away from potential discipleship because he couldn't part with his money?
