- Embed this noticeTwitter made it an echo chamber. Users are pooled into groups, probably by algorithms. You will pretty much never see people outside of your pool. I discovered this once when I had a particular video hit ten million views. After about two days of being dormant, it came back to life, and I was seeing likes from conservative accounts, none of which I followed. It was 100% who the fuck are these people and why don't I know any of them? I replied on some of their threads and tried to follow a few, but nothing. No follows, no responses. The accounts I followed didn't feed either. It was as if I was invisible to them and them to me, and there were several thousand accounts involved (I kept testing because I knew I had found something out about Twitter).
That kinda confirmed that Twitter was fake and gay in that it was manipulating the user base and keeping information from crossing pools unless a post got enough hits, e.g. celebrities and politicians posts will easily feed across all pools, but your posts will rarely make it that far, if ever.
