One summer in college I worked construction. First day on the job, in the morning the boss tells everyone what their task is for the day and fucks off to another site. I bust ass, get my task done noonish (in good quality). Boss shows up sees that I'm done and instead of an attaboy gives me more work. Guess what, that was the first and last day I worked harder than the rest of the crew.
