   More people should consider this. Hating boomers for doing what they were supposed to do is dumb; it isn't their fault they were lied to. A lot of them are very out of touch to this day, because they grew up in a country that rug pulled them and distracted them with TV. Generally, they don't understand the problems that gen X, Millennials, and Zoomers face. That doesn't mean they all need to be taken out and pillowed.

     @DEERBLOOD @SK1ZM Really though, some of this is on them. A fair amount even, but I don't know how much exactly. I find it distasteful to judge people who try to do their best but were deceived. There's plenty of bad boomer behavior of course, but not everything.

What I hold against boomers is their bullheadness and refusal to think for themselves and accept the truth when presented. I don't know if it is out of fear that they would be morally obligated to actually do something if they were to accept it, laziness, just being retarded, I don't know.

It is my experience that most every Boomer can be reasoned with, but they generally want to be heard and acknowledged for their *wisdom* before they'll engage with any alternative ideas. I know many completely normal dudes who are good family men who know the struggles of younger people today but are "Boomers", and I am bothered that they are assumed to be identical to "BOOTSTRAP YERSELF CHECKMATE LIBTARD" type.
