It is my experience that most every Boomer can be reasoned with, but they generally want to be heard and acknowledged for their *wisdom* before they'll engage with any alternative ideas. I know many completely normal dudes who are good family men who know the struggles of younger people today but are "Boomers", and I am bothered that they are assumed to be identical to "BOOTSTRAP YERSELF CHECKMATE LIBTARD" type.
