@egirlyuumimain @CapitalB It talks about iodine at the end. Introducing iodine to the salt used for canning and processing food is why nobody today has goiters (iodine deficiency enlarged thyroid) today without a serious issue. We don't know of all the other second and third order effects from it, but that's the thing about most hormone systems in the body. To that point, we do know that a lot of the chemicals that leech from plastics and pesticides are endocrine disruptors and often xenoestrogens. Interesting that there's not many xenoandrogens... -

@egirlyuumimain WHAT popular culture? Goiters were a huge problem until 150 years ago. What popular culture in the 1870s???

@egirlyuumimain I know what you mean. But the Swiss effort had a giant effect. Those are white humans. And now?

@egirlyuumimain @CapitalB Yeah I forgot about it and had to look it up from OP's context. I think the average person probably gets too much iodine today since it's also heavy in animal products like eggs. -

@BowsacNoodle @CapitalB I just think we should address the issues we can control rather than speculating on a supposed cause. We know we are propping up transgenderism in the culture. Maybe iodine salt is an issue too. I am sure plenty of the stuff we inject has negative effects BowserNoodle ☦️ likes this. -

@egirlyuumimain @CapitalB Oh for sure . It's certainly a cultural memetic disease and likely has epigenetic and environmental influence— if they can turn frogs gay from common chemicals, that's a good sign that said chemicals are likely able to make at least a small influence on people. Perhaps the memetic aspects wouldn't catch on so much without all of the environmental poisons. -

@BowsacNoodle @egirlyuumimain @CapitalB Iodine is rather important to supplement during Great Lent, in my own experience; at least if one is in a position wherein one has to keep their edge. I experienced a dramatic IQ boost when I drank 1/2 tbsp of iodized salt during Week 4. But like everything it can be overdone, likely with deleterious results.

Voilà, you got it completely wrong. Iodine is like Vit D or C unnegogiable.
