     @Shadowman311 There are at least a billion more Africans than there should be. The reason is aid from the global north. We just need to cut them off and let nature take its course. I admire Albert Schweitzer for his intellect, and his biblical and musical work. But he set a bad example for the world with his Africa mission.

     @kerosene It just seems like a really weird thing.

     I don't believe America has ever necessarily had (at least, in modern memory) all the things @Shadowman311 lists off. ---And, it's not due to the existence of Africans, but, rather, to a fully privatized for-profit healthcare system corrupt at every possible level and America's inability to functionally address this problem due to decades of dogmatic conditioning that not-allowing-companies-to-do-whatever-it-is-they-want-to-do is somehow un-American or "doesn't work".

     @adiz @kerosene I should elaborate that my original post is referring to the shitlib response to Trump's latest EO, where they claim that medical costs are higher here because those costs are used to make those same medical procedures cheaper in the third world, and they claim that Trump lowering medical costs for Americans across the board will "kill millions"
