Anti-AI sentiment is astroturfed by megacorporations in order to pre-tranquilize public backlash when AI becomes rescinded from democratized accessibility and gate-kept behind privileged access to corporations & the wealthy.

i watched "marty supreme" or whatever on the flight over from china and it's just a movie about scheming deceptive jewish rats being parasites.

what blows my mind is that this is a movie about jews written by jews and acted by jews and yet it doesn't depict jews in any other light than "i understand why society keeps trying to exterminate them"

so therefore i must conclude that either jews hate themselves and this movie is a form of self-harm or something OR (more likely) jews see absolutely nothing wrong with behaving like cockroach vermin people and the writers, director, and actors thought this movie was just swell!

Everyone on BlueSky is trying to blame this UPS crash on Trump.

Plane crashes during takeoff obviously due to some catastrophic onboard failure.

Elon Musk believes that within half a decade the majority of content that people consume on a daily basis (text, music, photos, videos) will all be AI-generated.

The only notifications I get from BlueSky are alerts that I’ve been blocked or added to some block-list primarily because I openly discuss my positive views and routine use of AI/LLMs. (The extant BlueSky user-base/culture is dogmatically, hysterically opposed to AI/LLMs or their utilization.)

Like, I’ve seen legitimate wishes of death towards people who have discussed their casual use of ChatGPT. 🤣

I have probably around 400 people blocking me (and growing) on BlueSky almost entirely based on my posts about AI or using LLMs. And that’s with a fraction of the engagement I get here on the Fediverse.

BlueSky is also internally fracturing in the same way that the Fediverse is fractured: via large, ever-growing block-lists. At least with BlueSky it’s on an individual, user-by-user basis vs. domain-by-domain, so you don’t end up with 1 server admin unilaterally blocking access to a remote user or server for their X number of hosted users. But, it’s still becoming a problem. And, BlueSky users seem a lot more block-happy than even Mastodon admins. I guess, as it turns out, having everyone live under one “big tent” or whatever doesn’t work out: most people don’t like one another and forcing everyone all together is never going to result in anything other than dysfunction.

The end-result of the Bsky experience for any srs or long-time user is getting blocked by a sizable percentage of the user-base + oneself blocking a sizable percentage of the user-base—not dissimilar from the Fediverse experience w/ nw fragmentation behind colossal server block-lists.
