     @inthehands it’s making my skin crawl. hearing is one of my autistic supersensitivities (misophonia?) and it just sounds absolutely wrong yet totally familiar. it’s like an aural uncanny valley. 10/10 for the shitposting fuckery.

     Honestly and without irony, I am just so happy any time anybody actually •listens• to music at all. Our attention is scattered; our senses are deadened. People treat music as wallpaper, as mood lighting, as a narcotic. To laugh, to cringe, to be weirded out by music — that’s the kind of attention where we can also let it move us, change us, renew us.

     @inthehands this just makes me love the fediverse even more - played great on standard web client (hachyderm.io). That said, if we are talking 5/4 music then XTC's English Roundabout is more my jam. I'd have to change the lyrics to something more "long long ago in a distant galaxy" appropriate.
