     I'm just consistent, bunch of faggots will pretend to love animals and their lives whilst using animal products and flesh on a daily basis. Most of those faggots draw arbitrary lines between what is acceptable to use/eat based on what they personally prefer, so I do the same. Unfortunately for my neighbours whenever the system collapses, I hate monkeys a lot. Like mosquito levels of a lot.

     I don't cause suffering to them, I used to fight chavs who would torture them to death in my homecity. I do them eat them now though, because birds suck and they taste ok with sauce. They're in the same category as fish to me, about the same level as the primate order (only we have stupid laws to stop me enjoying long pig 🙄)

     if you do not adore the flowers you pick, then why did you pick them in the first place? I did not endorse things like overhunting, taking what you will not use is unethical, but I do not endorse leaving it "up to nature". we are the nature. we have to make sure we are fair, sure, but my back yard is not the same as an industrial plant. I only put on my table what will be eaten. and it is eaten with joy, and to pretend I said I do all that without emotion takes away my humanity. Beasts do not love their food, they think of hunger as a force outside of themselves that will tear at their skin if they do not tear at anothers first.

     Quite a difference between abusing an animal and dealing with it humanely.
     
     Easy examples. When I was a kid, one of our puppies got parvo. We shot it. Was it more humane to end it, or to let it languish to death?
     
     Had dogs come into our yard and kill our chickens. We killed the dog(s). Was it more humane to let the chickens die or the dogs? You could say it's the owners fault for letting the dogs loose. It is. But if they fuse to fix the issue.....?
     
     Same with my neighbors goats. I've killed 3 because he refuses to fix the issue. I've killed my own cats because they swiped at my kids for no particular reason.
     
     Nature is cruel and they will likely die in a much worse fashion than me putting a bullet through their brain

     It's not obvious because you have no clue what you are talking about. You don't know the situation, the history of the cat, or any other details. You are ASS-uming instead of getting clarification.
     
     So again, I do what I did. It was a decade ago. My point is I kill nuisance animals as per law allows. The cat was deliberately malicious with no warning signs they normally display. It wasn't just a scratch.
     
     Glad to know you and the other weirdos here would simply tell your kids "skill issue" and let them know you won't defend them. That is -your- problem.
     
     
     When the cats have defended themselves I get the cats back, which is usually the case. This was not.

     I'd only do that if the situation required it, which doesn't happen in the 1st world until it becomes the 3rd world. I'd still probably release the beasts to have a chance to survive in the wild than betray them by butchering them when food runs out.
