@f0x @Sui "a farm raised chicken will have many many great days and one really horrible one" is a quote I heard from a chicken enthusiast. I agree with that, and, having seen what wild animals do to chickens when caught off guard, you're still giving them a better shot of existing than they'd have on their own.
