     It gave us Fashwave, Murdoch Murdoch, a slew of new pro-white musicians (White Art Collective, holla!) and hell, even a show on Adult Swim (Sam Hyde).
     
     We have grown / evolved a lot since then, sure, but the "dissident" sphere today feels like a painfully forced and increasingly gay attempt to imitate something that was actually organic.

     Allsup continues to be one of the most universally beloved, albeit sadly all but forgotten, TRS hosts. I won’t deny that I miss the nnnnguy. The two year period with weekly three-hour historical deep-dives is one I remember quite fondly.
     
     Hopefully, archive.org finishes rebuilding soon so that I can share some of his old dissident mag pieces.

     I had no issue with her as a character. It's the forced meme aspect that pissed me off, because it was the post 2007 influx of normies (as I said, I started 2009, but necro-viewing taught me much) that didn't understand the difference.
     
     Cracky-chan was organically the Queen of /b/ because she'd post and the channel went nuts over her. It got so bad the mods had to eventually lock down threads. The spergs were pissing themselves with obsession over her.
     
     Boxxy was a forced meme, trying hard to be "the next Queen of /b/" without understanding what that meant. You can't claim the title. It has to be handed to you by the audience. It points to a larger problem we see in corporate, where they dictate what YOU want, instead of listening to the customer base like they're supposed to. If Boxxy had just come in, posted her vids and pics, more people would have warmed to her.

     I was a 4chantard since 2009, so I saw the rise of the Pepe meme from almost day 1. One thing a faggot like Sargon will never truly appreciate is the gestalt, the hivemind, that generated the Kek meme. If you haven't already, look up the original Kek Magic that we discovered in 2015. This was at least a year before S'r'gn got his hands on it.
     
     There is a phenomenon I've noticed since my childhood spent around the hippies of the late 60s early 70s. Any time you have a grassroots movement, regardless of what it's for or why, it invariably without fail gets hijacked by grifters who redirect the entire movement towards their own goals. So, for example, a new skate park is proposed, to give skaters a place to go without screwing up traffic. The movement starts, funding is raised, maybe some arguments with the town council leads to some campaigning. Next thing you know, you get some shmuck that comes in all smiles and energy, and slides into the crowd and starts getting the people to look instead at his/her agenda but still wearing the mask of being part of the movement. Eventually, the skate park is ignored and the movement is now focused on something else while funds continue to be funneled into their bank account.
     
     Personally, as an old Pepe, I say use it well. It wasn't always cringe.

Back then I wasn't aware of the Kekistan cringe and just thought it was a funny meme. Also, the whole kek thing surrounding Trump's election early 2017 was a very nice memory since a lot of life changing things happened to me in that year. Without going into details, the start of that year was extremely rough and the outrage from leftists, and especially the HWNDU meltdowns, was a well needed comedic relief (2017 did end for me on an absolute high note). So there is also some nostalgia involved with the kekistan thing.
