     That's a fun explanation of an expression I've seen on social media but didn't know what folks meant by it. And indeed, I have encountered this type of character and blocked them. Thanks!

     @cstross Just find it funny how many suffragettes and civil rights activists would have been called sealions by todays standards but if a vegan randomly shifts the conversation to how using linguistic speciesist violence to coin an entire negative trait that villainizes yet another creature that humanity commits extreme violence against then that's me infringing on the oppressor class's right to a clear conscience
