@WashedOutGundamPilot@YTFoidLover1488 owning a nissan altima is like the movie christine except you got the crackhead cousin and the spirit of Carlos Ghosn taking over your body
Regular Car Reviews? Yea he kinda goes on a bit too far and drills the jokes into the ground .. taking things a bit past the point where they're funny. ... dude just needs an editor.
Real talk: I enjoyed this guy's content when he was starting out, but he's gradually become more and more of an insufferable redditor archetype. I'm not sure if he was always like that or if it's just the result of him flanderizing his own bit over the years.
In every case it's a guy making a product that, were it judged solely on its 2024 content, sucks ass. But because they watched it at 15, they don't notice that it's nowhere near as enjoyable as it used to be, the creators are phoning it in because they're stuck in e-celeb hell until the grift well dries up for good
In every case I check out these "legends" only to see they're way, way more troon-friendly and nigger-worshipping than they were promised.
He's gotten a boost lately and IDK what's up, I half assumed he expanded the operation because he's on my TL a lot more now and it's higher quality than before. Maybe he got a silent partner, there was a rash of buyouts recently. All those car channels got snapped up & ruined
Dumbass should have **stopped filming** (first), then grab the wheel, then the keys to cut the engine, and slowly pull up on the parking break and try to get the car over to the right. Panicking is bad enough ... still filming is everything that's wrong with the broadcast yourself era
I was just listening to a James Corbett interview where he talked about how he didn't think at all about money or membership or sponsorship the first two years he ran his website. He never pay-walled any content (except maybe the members newsletter, which mostly just had a list of stuff coming out soon).
He got hit pretty hard in the pocketbook when we was banned from YouTube and Patreon (and maybe Paypal too?), but he had backups of everyone on his website and it hasn't stopped him. He's going stronger than ever, and he he honestly doesn't seem to care about the money.
Money ruins everything. The kind of content produced when you're doing it for fun is different from that which is produced once you're doing it for a paycheck.
Makes me wonder what Tom Scott is actually doing now. He seems like he was wise and saved his money. But you look at LGR and his retro-hording taking a huge hit of hurricane damage .. all he does is the YouBoobs ... his income will take a pretty big hit.
@Hoss@PurpCat@djsumdog@YTFoidLover1488 I've talked about it before, but I've talked with people in this LOW before. It's bleak. You don't notice that you make yourself unemployable when you have "youtuber" clogging up your resume year after year. At a certain point, that's all you got to lean on, and you never saw it coming.
Who's going to waste time hiring the RLM guys to edit together a shampoo commercial? What auto mag wants this guy bringing drama baggage into their blog?
I've literally knowed nothing at all about Mr. Beast until the very recent controversy. I remember talking to people about beanie guy and they were like "Who is Tim Pool?"
All these little niece celebrities get a million or two views every once in a while, tens of thousands for most average stuff, and YouBoob use to give them a couple of grand in ad revenue. Even with newer hit content, the revenue has tanked for even the biggest players.
I wonder if YouToob is just getting greedy with their cut, if no one wants to pay their ad prices, or if they've dumped money into these creators from other Alphabet segments at a massive loss thinking they could make up for it later and the strategy has ultimately failed ... I'm sure it's a little of this and a little of that...
They came back with fake tits, and changed from the 10 min mpeg file format to hour long streams where she constantly brought up the Scamdemic. It's like ignoring what made her good and adding everything terrible from modern Internet culture with zero self-awareness. People on the pirate sites were bitching about how torrenting the new stuff was a waste of bandwidth.
I was a teenager jacking off to this woman whose husband said "hey you suck dick good, let's monetize that". Now I'm a grown-ass adult and she's trying to recreate that magic moment.
I don't know why I thought of this but it's all the same, isn't it? Either you can move forward or you're stuck in place. But if all you do is perform in front of a camera, how do you move forward? She can't learn a new way to suck cock any more than RLM can learn a new way to talk about movies.
