Cobalt (cobalt@musicians.today)'s status on Sunday, 20-Oct-2024 22:31:38 JST Cobalt @kaia mullvad because you can pay with XMR. don't know about regional differences but at least here nobody cares if you torrent something, the copyright holder of whatever you download themselves would have to take action and I don't think they think it's worth it

- iptables rules to port forward incoming torrent ports (tcp and udp)
- Setup qbittorrent / rutorrent / whatever to use the SOCKS5 proxy for everything outbound

翠星石 (suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com)'s status on Monday, 21-Oct-2024 02:24:48 JST 翠星石 @Cyrillic Linux's license (GPLv2-only) doesn't allow for torrenting it unless you include the source code, or a written offer for the source, so distributing Linux without either means you instantly lose your license to distribute Linux and need to ask all the copyright holders to get it back.
Those Linux developers should have upgraded to GPLv3-or-later tbh, as torrenting without having to do anything is allowed. -
