翠星石 (suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com)'s status on Monday, 21-Oct-2024 02:24:48 JST翠星石 @Cyrillic Linux's license (GPLv2-only) doesn't allow for torrenting it unless you include the source code, or a written offer for the source, so distributing Linux without either means you instantly lose your license to distribute Linux and need to ask all the copyright holders to get it back.
Those Linux developers should have upgraded to GPLv3-or-later tbh, as torrenting without having to do anything is allowed.
