     oh, he was "top of his class in physics"
     
     so was he the only one studying physics? because I rarely hear of anyone majoring in a difficult subject at a military academy
     
     this guy was probably hand picked from day 1 to tell this story, just like the female officer who was shoehorned into the ranger regiment and was by all accounts totally useless
