  I had read some #SciFi before, but this series truly drew me into the genre, which I still love and cherish.
  I don't believe, this series has made it into a translation.

  Correct
  If you read quickly, min. 90 min. for each--without the huge number of paperbacks.
  And then, you wouldn't have read any of the (later on cancelled) major spin-off series, #Atlan, the immortal who's lived much more than 10,000 years...
  That's about what you'd need to read the now more than 3,200 printed ones. 5,200 appeared as e-books

  Apart from some laudable #FanFiction movies, nothing eas ever done professionally. It is sort of a Lord-Of-The-Rings syndrome--before someone finally filmed the 1st book.
  However now, with virtually all issues having been published as e-books and with over 5,200 covers and hundreds of professional technical drawings...
