   Just reading an article about the new big hit sex book (they call it a... 'scorching bonkbuster'). Evidently the writer Robinne Lee got tips from the 50 Shades writer and based it off her own sexual fantasy of meeting a boyband member and jetting off to get down with the bow-wow (I have literally never said this before in my entire life - sorry I get terribly weird and uncomfortable talking about sex) in interesting countries. Firstly - that's a bit ick. Like if I wanted to shag.... look, I was going to say one of the Spice Girls but actually I did and they are also ancient now. But like if me as I am now wrote lasciviously about sexualising a current girl band. I think that would be pretty gross. The point is, I don't think men can write sex books? Because we see it differently and it would just be like 'yeah, he did that thing and bloody loved it'. There has been no point whatsoever to this ramble. Just transposing my thoughts again. Like a Court Stenographer for my own mind.

     I assume it's different for women and when someone my age says they want to jet off around the world doing the old horizontal hokey pokey (I've genuinely never said this before either, what is wrong with me) with a child singer, it's seen as endearing and fun, and not as I see it.... a bit disgusting. I've no real issue with age gaps in relationships with consenting adults. But my wife has a friend who's just gone through divorce and is seeing someone 19 years her junior. Fair play for the sex stuff. Fill your boots. But are we expected to take someone seriously in a social setting when they are younger than some of my children, who still have tantrums about stuff. To be fair as I write this I realise *I* still have tantrums about stuff so don't really have a leg to stand on.

     BTW I have a male writer friend who writes the best erotica I've ever read. He's this big oaf of a man, but writes sex scenes better than most female authors I know. He says he has a formula he follows ... but the bugger won't share the formula with me! 😭😂

     Ah, yes that's the one. I read it as being a new book, when in fact the article is talking about it being made into a new film (as I should have realised by the image at the top of the article)...
