I assume it's different for women and when someone my age says they want to jet off around the world doing the old horizontal hokey pokey (I've genuinely never said this before either, what is wrong with me) with a child singer, it's seen as endearing and fun, and not as I see it.... a bit disgusting. I've no real issue with age gaps in relationships with consenting adults. But my wife has a friend who's just gone through divorce and is seeing someone 19 years her junior. Fair play for the sex stuff. Fill your boots. But are we expected to take someone seriously in a social setting when they are younger than some of my children, who still have tantrums about stuff. To be fair as I write this I realise *I* still have tantrums about stuff so don't really have a leg to stand on.
