   Hey Fediverse...

   If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be?

   For me it's Yosemite national park. Although I can’t walk around the park anymore, or go hiking, a simple drive-through is more than sufficient to lighten my heart. My girlfriend and I have been there together several times, and it’s one of our favorite parks. i’m very much looking forward to going there with her again someday soon.

     @Mrfunkedude I haven't been to Yosemite since the '80s - damn, I have to get back there.

     My favorite place in the world is Red Rock Canyon, near Las Vegas, Nevada. I always feel at peace there.

     @Mrfunkedude I'll settle for the lesser explored (by me) parts of Sutton Park. I have walked through it hundreds of times but virtually always following the same route. There are plenty more parts of it I'd like to see and I will once the weather warms up.

     Of course, if we're talking longer than just a day trip then I'd love to go back Canaries for an extended holiday. I don't even have a current passport so that's not going to happen any time soon though .

     @Mrfunkedude I am not sure much of a traveler, but I am so ready to lay eyes on Caribbean blue ocean again. Don't care where, I just need that color (and warmth, and smell).

     @Mrfunkedude I definitely agree with Yosemite. Although not "right now" - it's cold enough on the coast, no way do i want to go up 4000 feet up in the Sierras.

     @Mrfunkedude I’d go back to Mexico City, where I had a blissful solo vacation in 2019. A week away from my amazing spouse and kids recharged my batteries so much and CDMX was just incredible. The street food, the high-end food, the history, the art, the four-hands massage I got on my last day…paradise

     @IanAMartin @Mrfunkedude If you’re at all queer, I urge you to check out the Malecon at Avenue 23 after dark. It’s fabulous. Also, bring a few dozen condoms to share around. The blockade makes them pricey and hard to get there, and the folks there appreciate getting some quality western ones. Even the cheap brands. :)

     @Mrfunkedude either Disney world or the cabin that my fiancé and I rented last year in eureka springs Arkansas. It was so peaceful and quiet and I would love to do more of the hiking the area offered
