I know it's easy to dunk on the #Teamsters for the whole organization refusing to endorse Harris, but don't ignore that many of the local unions ARE endorsing her. So not all of them are as wishy-washy as O'Brien.

@futurebird There are sadly too many who view bullying as just how people interact and maintain social structures. They’re fine with telling kids to stand up to bullies, because blaming the victim is easier than understanding all the issues at play and addressing things like physical and mental abuse at home, income inequality, neurodiversity, etc, in a productive and healthy way. Way too much work. /depressed sigh/

@BeAware One tool I’ve found that helps is hiding boosts from accounts that frequently boost political stuff, especially stuff my filters don’t catch. Often, it seems those accounts don’t tend to post their own thoughts on political issues as much as boost the thoughts of others. When I find I’m seeing too much politics, I’ll go through a round of boost-hiding, and it helps a lot.

@WarnerCrocker As amused as I am by the GOP eating itself, I want someone to tell these folks "You knew what Trump was when you started supporting him." Because this is the poison working its way through the system of the party that put power over conscience.

@georgetakei He’s so desperate for affection. It’s kind of sad. Maybe some day he’ll realize he won’t ever get what he wants, no matter how many times he says “my father” on air.
