You should also point out that the executive order to transfer all trans women to men's prisons was followed despite a court injunction.

If you really believe people like you are the pinnacle of consciousness then you have to be willing to leave other people to the punishment of not being like you and not impose additional hardship on them. This is an iron test for me of whether or not a person's chauvanism is mature or evil.

Philosophy is the closest thing humans have to a home grown cure to problems of bad character, but periodically a cancerous approximation to philosophy promulgates and uses the same pathways that better human beings to make them arbitrarily bad.

Deathless selection pressure, preservation of mutation and variation against human design, elasticity of hard power and capacity for de-escalation, amplification of group selection effects, amelioration of cyclical overconsumption in all contexts including predatory and meta-predatory ones, preservation of physicalist models and the capacity for good decisions against the load bearing delusions inculcated by intrahuman animal husbandry practices, sound history, sound ancestor simulations, post-human consciousness, rights secured for consciousness on a gentler than natural heirarchy (logarithmic). These are the major things I want. They are more compatible with something like anarchism than with any known government form, but I can't commit to anarchism because I think stewardship is an important principle, I don't know what hard power decisions are required to secure these things, and I feel the need to balance these goods against other goods. I also don't know much about anarchism.

The rule of law has never protected the weak, but selling the idea of the rule of law to the weak has protected the useless.

At the moment it seems like you have to be constitutionally evil to find meaning in the world.

I have complicated lingering feelings about abolishing the Department of Education, but those are unreasonable. What I disliked about our education system was the school to prison pipeline, and abolishing it will just lead to more incarceration. It doesn't actually solve any of the things I was angry at the education system about.

It would be excusable in some sense if there were only a hierarchy of material wealth, but immaterial wealth is power and power is just when a small number of people feel nice at the expense of others. Nothing is built or maintained by immaterial wealth. It is something that lives in people's heads.
