I want the future to include intelligent dragons. I don't know what this means or looks like exactly, and some of the possibilities terrify me, but it is what I want. All life is an accident, imbued with no inherent meaning. Whether it is more meaningful to be without intrinsic meaning or to have meaning given to you by meaningless beings is hard to discern. There is something demiurgic about the creation of artificial beings, but is it really worse than being the progeny of a blind idiot god?

Above all, Death of the Author is unforgivably entitled. You want the author dead? You should have to kill them yourself over the course of the text. It should be a fair contest and a vicious war and by no means obvious who the victor will be.

First completed Final Fantasy game. It was at its strongest when the gameplay reinforced the themes and at its weakest and most generic when it was a bunch of cutscenes telling a story, which unfortunately made the ending dull.

So worst case scenario at this point involves a declaration of the Insurrection Act on April 20th and a criminalization of transgender healthcare on April 28th. At least I don't have to wait much longer.
