    @Jain @icedquinn @Alex okay, first off, my original argument was not "the word genocide is appropriate and we should be using it" but instead "innocent people are being killed in massive numbers, this is bad, and those arguing things like that the word genocide is inappropriate merely distract from this while failing to address it"
    and you have spent your arguing that the word genocide is inappropriate, without actually addressing my argument.
    secondly, "talking past each other" implies we're both doing it.
    you're the one who started playing a definitions game in response to me criticizing people who do exactly that.

    in which I specifically used the phrase "mass killing of innocents" to describe the situation, thus avoiding the proactive use of the term "genocide" as this would undermine the point I was trying to make.
    yes, my cw does imply that, and I do believe it, but nothing you have posted thus far has so much as acknowledged the posotion I was originally arguing for.
    that position being, ironically enough, that those who argue against the use of the word genocide are missing the point.
    seriously, you're essentially an oblivious walking strawman at this point.

    I've seen some people argue about whether certain ongoing events are truly deserving of being called genocides, citing various justifications and definitions, but I'd like to point out that a mass killing of innocents by any other name would not be any more moral or ethical.

    AI is made to imitate humans, so it acts in imitation with the racism and sexism of humans, even when they're not supposed to/the humans being imitated don't realize what they're doing.
