I think having a consent term in the profile or post is probably the least likley to cause un-intended opt-ins but if the consent is there the method isnt as important.

My main question is if you could make it easier for the opt-in integrated directly into the UI.

Losing characters in one's profile description due to the need for indexing is probably a challenge for some folks.

I'm under the impression this is merely the first of many indexes and they might all start asking for different means of consent.

Also it'd be cool if one could opt-in to indexing with a post instead of the whole account, which is a landmine without a special field.
