@silver_huskey You know, I hadn't thought of that - maybe? I'll have to investigate... (Or some kind soul might have provided a workaround to disable it altogether)
@silver_huskey Alas, I had to succumb this year as well ๐ I like my new laptop but hate that it has a stupid Copilot key (that I have hit by accident multiple times)
@silver_huskey Aww, that's sad! I would have liked more trick-or-treaters than we got - only 3 kids came to our door, and I could definitely hear more of them around the area but I guess they didn't bother with our row of houses? Maybe if we had more Halloween decorations up, but I don't want to go to quite that much effort ๐
So work will probably get the rest of ours too...
I'm glad you at least found something fun to play at the end ๐
So, Twitter shat the bed, then Reddit, now it's Tumblr's turn. Did they all co-ordinate the timing of this, or are they reacting to something that I haven't cottoned onto yet?
@being@mekkaokereke Absolutely this! I've seen posts/discussion about why we don't tell men to "be more like women" instead, because we act as though politeness and apologies (just to use two often-cited examples) are somehow inherently bad things, when... they're actually not? We should normalise those instead.
