   I bought my husband a new laptop. His old one was over 12 years old. I'm setting everything up for him, and my god, Windows 11 sucks. I'm glad I resisted installing this on my desktop.

     @silver_huskey@fandom.ink I've got a little VirtualBox VM on my work laptop just for when I absolutely have to use Windows for a client, and I dread every time I have to open it up

     @silver_huskey Alas, I had to succumb this year as well 😓 I like my new laptop but hate that it has a stupid Copilot key (that I have hit by accident multiple times)

     @silver_huskey@fandom.ink @Dio_Senrab@mastodon.social I have to warn you, Linux Mint isn't that reliable. It might work fine at first, but it will sooner or later start malfunctioning, which will make it almost unusable. It happened to me after using it for 6 months. I suggest you to try a different distro.
