@adamjcook @BruceMirken @atomicpoet @socialmedianews LinkedIn is also nearly indistinguishable from Facebook in its privacy practices, i.e. highly invasive. Why does the iPhone app need to collect my purchases, location, financial info, and other “Sensitive Data” when other free/paid apps don’t? It’s definitely not required for functionality, not even “contacts.” I’ve deleted it on my phone.

@atomicpoet @fediversenews — Mozilla is all well and good, but this concerns me from a bigger picture standpoint. How do VCs plan to capitalize off the Fediverse? This is a free and open source model.
