    For some reason @Wiz 's instance, poa.st, and masto.globaleas.org seem to be the only instances reliably federating with my instance.

    That's not true. Especially under 128kpbs.

    Also it's better for VOIP due to having considerably lower latency (unless you jack up opus frame duration to 120ms or higher)

    It's more flexible.
    Reference encoder has s16 in addition to flt.

    Supports 3d mappings, though admittedly I have never actually encountered this used in the real world

    Vorbis is less efficient channel coupling above 2 channels.

    Aplul refuses to add a vorbis decoder to in their systems.

    @p no websites I run (that I have made myself) have JavaScript. I have used some very quirky and eccentric CSS and deprecated html quite frequently. Turns out JavaScript is usually as unnecessary as it is bloated.
