I saw the commercial for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, and I have to say, most of those musical acts appeal to people who can't stay up to midnight anymore.

@jacklaridian He's not getting in trouble (other than having to revise those parts of his paper), and I told my wife "at least he's doing it the old-fashioned way and not having ChatGPT do it all for him."

One of my wife's middle school students asked her to review an essay paper because his parents were out of town, and she said yes but "Mr. Eagon would also take a look at it." I read it and immediately picked out the parts that were copied verbatim from Wikipedia without ever having read those articles. Now she gets to explain plagiarism to him and I get to consider if I read too much Wikipedia.
