Unexpected side effects of making 6-year old cocaine addicts and house wives hopped up on speed were unfortunate.

@Doll @Darb And Cocaine was sold as a miracle pain killer and an aid to help focus. All true statements. People just didn't appreciate the concept of how addicting cocaine and amphetamines were and the long term impacts. A lot of people had no clue what they were taking.
Heck, the grandmothers pushing prohibition in the early 1900's all left the temperance meeting and went home to have some of their medical tonic which was like 50 proof alcohol because it did wonders for their health and feelings. They had no clue what was in it.

@swattysquad @Darb @Doll Good point. A number of soft drinks originated as medicines, which were developed by pharmacists. The soda parlors were usually in pharmacies. They were soft because they had no alcohol, but you never knew what else was in it.

@swattysquad @chudbere @poasting @willynilly I listened to about 15 minutes of one of Tom's videos and got major limp-wristed fem vibes. It bored me to death, and I turned it off. It was an interesting topic too, but he managed to make it dull and unwatchable.

@swattysquad @SaltWraith @ChudBud @Darb @DickMolesterson @YarnSmith @alfaniner @chudbere @vent For what it's worth, Stone Cold used to say that Undertaker would sell for a guy if he had the stamina to hang with him. If a guy couldn't sustain his offense for a believable amount of time, then taker wouldn't just sell to sell. Part of the problem also was that taker came roaring back on the comeback after selling for a guy, and you had to practically have an oxygen tank on to keep going the whole time. So a lot of matches looked crappy if a guy was out of shape wrestling taker. This is Stone Cold talking. I have no idea how true it is.
