      Yeah I missed all the Kurt Angle vs Stone Cold stuff. I never went to any events live, had plans to go to the show in Kansas City at Kemper where Owen Hart died but I think I ended up getting really sick with mono or something and that's why we didn't go.

      I don't feel it's fair to compare apples to oranges like big power guys to cruiserweight high flyer/technical guys. The whole point of a smaller guy against a big guy is to move around and keep it interesting until the big guy can hit his spot. Of course a Jericho will make Paul Wight look like a chump, or Shawn out maneuvers Taker, until their spot is set and the big guy takes control strong strikes in the corner, big boot or clothesline bringing them down to the mat and they get to execute their power move.

      I think its not apples and oranges. Theres plenty of big guys that were and are compelling regardless of their size and can have good matches regardless of opponent size. Takers just over rated and boring but was blessed with a great gimmick and vinces love man. Look you wanna believe taker was great i. Aint taking that away from you but i don't believe he was.

If a guy couldn't sustain his offense for a believable amount of time, then taker wouldn't just sell to sell. Part of the problem also was that taker came roaring back on the comeback after selling for a guy, and you had to practically have an oxygen tank on to keep going the whole time. So a lot of matches looked crappy if a guy was out of shape wrestling taker. This is Stone Cold talking. I have no idea how true it is.

      I just go by what i saw. Taker was just like diesel. Wrestles Shawn, bret, razor, jeff hardy, edge, punk basically smaller guys thet can lead him through and let him do power moves great. But fight kane, bigshow, austin, rock, hhh dog shit. Just my opinion. I thought taker was alway way over rated and i never really cared for him. But kane is probably the greatest wrestling story line ever so ??♂️ fuck it guess.

      Eric Bischoff saw the Mortal Kombat movie, wanted a Sub-Zero martial arts character, and got it in Glacier. There was gonna be a Scorpion character too but it never materialized.

      Glacier was fine! His martial arts sucked, but he wasn't a bad wrestler. Better than a lot. His gimmick of being Sub-Zero was goofy but I've seen a lot goofier! Plus he's lower card.

      Yeah me and some geek friends were watching the ppv, it was fucken surreal how the energy of the show just died sorta and we were debating if it was a work all night. For the longest I swear I thought his drop aired on the live because when it happened we were all not exactly paying attention so we thought we missed it, but eventually I found out they did cut away bc of the live delay so the only copy of the drop is in WWE's vault never to see the light of day like a lot of fucked up media.

      Yeah, we had some friends who went that told me the next day they weren't sure what happened, there was no announcement of his death to the live audience in the arena and many who were there thought it was part of an act or something initially. I remember watching the tribute they did on Raw to him and seeing Jerry Lawler look like he was near tears after the 10 bell salute.
