@nickajordan oh everywhere, this place has been like the premier league of reply guys at times, but as least I don’t have at least three replies to every joke that starts “surely…” and then replaces a reference that everyone gets to a reference that means something to them

@tenzochris I’m always happy to be here, and honestly would rather be here than there, but it was lovely having abig group of queer people just being daft that I could laugh and make jokes with which is what kept me on there, rather than here (plus I didn’t have a decent mastodon app, but I do now)

Sometimes I miss having the ingenuity, the get up and go of being a full time drug addict and alcoholic.

This morning there were no clean bowls for my breakfast so I washed one.

20 years ago when faced with this dilemma I didn’t cave, I simply ate my cereal from a frisbee with a shoehorn.

We also didn’t have any milk, so I improvised and had my co-co pops with Baileys

@PetraPhoenix it is, it’s unbearably tough, but you’re tougher. Even when you don’t think you are. I’m proud of you and everything you’re accomplishing despite all the horror you’re going through, so remember I’m here if you need owt at all x

@PetraPhoenix in 2012 I got dumped a few months befre I was supposed to get married, had 8 of my friends die including two on the same day, got made homeless, nearly bled to death and broke my coccyx and leg in two separate incidents and got CFS/ME, you just keep going minute to minute hour to hour as horrible as it gets, as awful as things are as painful as the thoughts are because you can keep going and you have to. There will be good again. X

@bumblebeedc we were initially told that if he did then he’d want to charge market rate, so at least an extra £300 per month, but that was before they saw the state of what previous tenants had done. But if they only replace the one that’s completely missing and one of the downstairs ones I think we can easily work around it. We basically agreed that we’d use this house for practice on decorating, tilling, etc before we buy somewhere next year

@bumblebeedc we have, and it’s kinda awful but dry and cheaper than where we are, it’s going to require us to completely redecorate before we can move in, and we’re waiting to hear if the landlord is prepared to replace the carpets. The previous tenants were hoarders.

On the up side it’s £100 cheaper per month and it’s dry, and it’s in our village so we can work round that
