X har kopplat på bild-AI modellen Flux på AI-tjänsten Grok på Elon Musks numera politiska sociala nätverksplattform X. Grok och Flux har inte begränsningar i vad för bilder som går att skapa och på kort tid har en mängd deepfakes sett dagens ljus. Det är högst sannolikt att X kommer att utstå en del juridiska utmaningar i kölvattnet av detta. Men något utvecklingen synliggör är hur tekniken på kort tid kommit att påverka karaktär och förekomst av politisk propaganda och desinformation.

Does anyone know of a piece of software that makes it possible for you to subscribe to a podcast, but not via audio but via a transcription through for example Whisper into a new RSS feed that does a text version? #podcast #transcription #rss

@doktorzjivago @feditips @luka @funkwhale For me as a podcaster its actually a really interesting feature. Figure having a server for a podcast and its engaged listener community, just like many run their Discord servers today, for example.

Through @doktorzjivago I just realized and have tried myself to post an mp3 file to my Mastodon feed, and then go see it appear as a podcast in my Pocketcast podcast app by placing my Mastodon name as an RSS there. Quite cool! Suddenly publishing a podcast is the same as having a Mastodon account. So now for example a podcast could run its own server and have its audience on it for example. Quite cool. Ping @dtnsshow

@jimcarroll that sounds great! Must be the Deep Purple. Im Lucky to work in a laboratory of ideas, totally in line with the spirit of this article. I cant see myself in another kind of space ever again.
