We should follow the sentencing guidelines for his charges whatever they may be. Given the severity of his crimes, lack of remorse, refusal to accept responsibility of his actions, and likelihood of recidivism if given a chance, the maximum possible sentence seems justified, though.

Is anyone really surprised that a Jewish politician of a major American political party toes the line on Israel? Do we really think that Shapiro can single-handedly form Harris' foreign policy on Israel-Palestinians.

If we have people saying, let's have Trump as president to keep Shapiro out of the vice presidency, then they aren't using good democratic calculus.

Given the history between US politics and blind support for Israel, you're letting your principles color your expectations of human beings.

No one is for massacring anyone. And, no one ever does massacre anyone, according to the massacrers. That wasn't a massacre. They deserved it. We were defending ourselves.

Actually, #ScienceFact, we are all emotional decision-makers. The rational part of our brain is only there to make up a good excuse for what we've done.

When our actions and values don't quite line up, as they are doing for many on the MAGA side and the extreme left, we use cognitive dissonance to help convince ourselves that they are aligned and we don't have to change at all.
