It's amazing how many people don't at least recognize that the being here illegally is criminal behavior. It's the original sin. And it has persistence according to the law. Every day is a reinforcement of the intentionally of the crime. I mean, come on in, the more the merrier; however, even a tax-paying pillar of the community, as long as you're here illegal, you're committing crime. Even Jesus. Doesn't bother me. There's a well-known cultural trope that far more people claim to have attended Woodstock in 1969 than the actual 400,000 who were there. As a symbol of the 1960s counterculture, Woodstock's legendary status has led to a kind of "memory inflation," where many exaggerate or fabricate their connection to the event. It's often joked that if everyone who said they went had actually gone, the festival would have stretched across the entire state of New York.

Just seeing how litigious Trump is even before his administration with ABC News, I think there will be so much DoJ litigation and indictments that people's heads will spin. It surely will feel and look and smell a lot like vengeance. But that's just because anti-Trump forces have moved heaven and earth to imprison Trump and it didn't work out but it did set a lot of new precedent that Trump will exploit against the people who set them. Fair game? It'll be entertaining, though, to be sure.

I don't mean to jinx this but when Saddam Hussein fell, Iraq fell into warlord chaos. When America left Afghanistan, things got worse for women and girls. Assad's leadership was the only thing maintaining a Western style rule of law. Now, women and girls will suffer under the violence and chaos of the chaos of the collapse of the country. Maybe freedom from Assad is worth that. Or maybe it's just Western regime change of a sovereign government. Either way, mazel tov!
