The trip home was relatively uneventful:

We hung around with some friends until our bus picked us up.

@madmojo had a beauty sleep during our travels while I filed some TODOs in #orgmode as the impressions were still fresh :)

We want to thank everyone who came by to the devroom, we very much enjoyed all the discussions that ensued.

Of course we also need to thank the orga team as well as the countless helpers who made @FrOSCon happen 🚀

We hope to see you again next year! 🎉

Lightning talks were scheduled on both saturday and sunday for 14:00 - 15:00.

Sadly I didn't take many pictures,
because I still had to finish up the slides for my presentation at 15:15 😅
But maybe someone else has taken any and is willing to share :)

Okay, letzter Tag im Urlaub...
Was soll ich sagen?
So angetan ich von dem Animationsteam, dem Sicherheitschef, dem Personal an der Bar, dem Aufgebot an guter Laune und Freundlichkeit bin, umso mehr habe ich zu kritisieren.
Angefangen von dem Umstand daß man maximal nur bis 15 Uhr ein Zimmer halten kann, wenn man erst um 19 Uhr abgeholt wird.
40°C im Schatten und um 15 Uhr muss das Zimmer geräumt sein.
Das hätte man auch anders machen können.

Most people (including most writers outside of tech) don't realize how unique the tech publishing industry is. There is a reason that some publishers and imprints focus just on tech books.

Tech books have a unique style that sits somewhere between academic journals and how-to books. Unlike with many other nonfiction authors, tech authors have to spend a significant amount of time not only writing clear how-to language, but also formatting their text much like an academic journal.

@purism Digitial media is a mess by my record collection is top notch!

Got a little too overzealous… now I have to reinstall @QubesOS on my @purism before #DEFCON. Well thank God I’ve only done this a few dozen times this past month 🤣

The camera app would've been recoverable in 10secs if I would immediately have thought of https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/millipixels/-/issues/36

The solution/workaround would have been to refocus #millipixels
so that it starts streaming again.

I've been wanting to try out the latest #megapixels as well ... 🤔
