She says that lower court and state judges should actively interpret the constitution to be more inclusive & make more sense in the modern era.

Edit: the only reason biden is gesturing towards softer genocide is people being upset. But, telling kids to stop protesting genocide because its making you mad is what vErY sErIoUs people do these days, i guess.

Speaking clearly and carefully doesn't seem near as effective as stream of consciousness diatribes...

People are so very charitable in their interpretation if they identify with you

Trump is the James Joyce of US politics

He watches so much TV that his stream of consciousness diatribes speaks to the shared subconscious of his followers. They identify with him because he speaks as they think. His potato brain is helpful, inasmuch as it strips out any sophistication and nuance, allowing him to uncritically speak to archetypal (not truly libidinal) desires. His sales and media training, along with mob connections, ensure that his performance is entertaining and less explicit.

@natematias @aaronclauset some sort of graph analysis of their citations. With a larger data set I'd maybe use ML to identify locuses but with a small group maybe analyze word clouds
