Overall iOS 18 makes #SwiftUI a lot better. I need to document all the little annoying things that have been fixed. Ice Cubes has never been that fast and stable.

It happens a lot to me with @IceCubesApp
Sometimes, I’m disgusted by it for weeks and can’t even hear about it, and sometimes, I’m working on it like crazy before and after work (like those days).

I’ve learned that this is how passion works.

One of my projects is to redo all App Store screenshots for @IceCubesApp, but I can't bring myself to do it... Making good screenshots for social media apps is hard and time-consuming.

The new Reeder app has built in support for Ice Cubes. It’s really nice!

I have the urge to start a codebase for @IceCubesApp 2.0

Honestly, the current codebase & state of the product are not what I would like them to be.

I want to make something that feels special instead of something that feels like it's everything.

You know the recent Doom engine dreamed by an AI is a good case for the “we’re living in a simulation.”
If we can approximate and simulate a game from 30 years ago with our current tech, nothing prevents this reality from being an approximation of the super layer.

It’s not intrusive and fits nicely in your timeline. At the technical level, it’s nothing more than a standard Mastodon post from a private account you follow. Ice Cubes simply wrap it nicely.
