I don't think any of these analyses are delving into the value of lost services. Some citizens are harmed by these cuts. Are we accounting for those harms in looking at whether DOGE is really saving money?

I seriously doubt it. My understanding is that most of the savings comes from elimination of jobs not finding inefficient processes or waste. Sure if you fire a bunch of people it costs less money but if you can no longer deliver the service required, you have not actually saved anything. You're going to have to just go without it or buy it elsewhere and probably at a higher cost.

By "temporary" he means until you die in poverty.
