I sometimes fear that
people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress
worn by grotesques and monsters
as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.

Fascism arrives as your friend.
It will restore your honour,
make you feel proud,
protect your house,
give you a job,
clean up the neighbourhood,
remind you of how great you once were,
clear out the venal and the corrupt,
remove anything you feel is unlike you...

Dass wir noch nicht mal #Flucht, #Asyl und #Migration ordentlich voneinander unterscheiden in einer gesellschaftlichen Debatte, die die ganze Zeit nur um diesen einen Themenkomplex kreist, macht mich intellektuell und menschlich betroffen.

Intellektuell, weil wir uns so keiner politischen Besserung nähern.
Menschlich, weil es so offensichtlich rassistisch oder zumindest ignorant ist, wenn man alles und alle in einen Topf wirft, aber die Migrant:innen aus Malta und Schweden gar nicht meint.

Wenn er von einer Bischöfin für ihren Appell zum Erbarmen und zur Milde eine Entschuldigung verlangt, möchte man wirklich nicht wissen, wie er mit "normalen" Menschen umgeht, die ihm wirklich mal widersprechen.

Wie kann man von jemandem, der sich selbst quasi höchst undemokratisch behandelt (i.S.v. des Aushaltens der Anderen), erwarten, dass er sich im Sinne der Demokratie einsetzt?

Also wenn dich der Staat vorher über lange Jahre abhängig von Nilpferden gemacht hat und Du deinen Alltag ohne Nilpferd nicht mehr bewerkstelligen kannst, würde ich vielleicht auch sagen, so lieber Staat, dann mal her mit günstigem Nilpferdfutter und kostenlosen Ställ- äh-plätzen.

2016/7 haben wir einen "unbegleiteten minderjährigen Flüchtling" unterstützt, der in einer Unterkunft in unserer Nähe gewohnt hat.
Sprachunterricht, Ausflüge, Sport, etwas Urlaub. Familienanschluss.

Irgendwann haben wir uns unter doofen Umständen aus den Augen verloren.
Bis heute! Nach Abschluss von Schule & Ausbildung arbeitet er in einem renommierten Krankenhaus und hat uns heute als Patienten versorgt.
Riesige Freude.
