Another reason not to is if they admit that the SBU paid them, then people can just say "oh, they only said so under torture!", and so it won't be believed, even if it's true.

I have no qualms with torture for dissuading future behavior, after a person has been convicted of a suitably heinous crime, like child murder.
I never said I support torture for interrogations. Most evidence suggests that the person will tell you whatever you want to hear. Mind games and good cop/bad cop techniques work far better.

I understand that, but self control is the mark of civilized behavior. I'm not against torture for dissuasion, but it must be done legally and not extra-judiciously.

I disapprove of such beastial behavior tbh. If the person is tried and convicted in court, and then publicly tortured to disuade such behavior, then it's another matter, but this is just sadistic guys getting their rocks off.

I've had to intestinal incidents in which I've been filling the toilet with blood which makes me worried I might have cancer and I'm still looking for jobs. Other than that, I'm doing normal. Something happened today also that I can't reveal because of opsec but it has made me very sad.
