Yes the toot.io instance is blocked by threads, maybe because our public timeline was private.

No, Metalhead is not using our Mastodon hosting service.

According to the threads server guidelines it depends on the admin/moderators and how they run the instance.

We, as a hosting provider, just running the infrastructure, not managing the content or policies of each Mastodon instance.

@darnell @thomas You can't retrieve the ActivityPub actor when threads blocks your domain/IP.

@thomas You can activate the debug logs and restart your instance:

Search for failed threads requests like this:

Threads has already blocked Mastodon instances since 21 Mar 2024 around 3 month after joining the Fediverse.
